How to verify you're actually dealing with HEXOGIC, and what to do if you suspect someone is impersonating us.
Why this page exists
Any studio that invoices clients can be impersonated — a fake email, a spoofed domain, a "payment details have changed" message. This page sets out how we actually communicate, so you can spot anything that doesn't match.
How we actually work
We will never ask you to change bank or payment details by email or chat alone — any change to payment instructions is confirmed verbally or on a call before it's acted on. We don't request upfront payment via gift cards, cryptocurrency, or wire transfer to an unfamiliar account. Official correspondence comes only from an @hexogic.com address.
If something looks off
Don't act on the message — don't pay, don't click, don't reply with details. Contact us directly at hello@hexogic.com using an address or number you already have on file, not one from the suspicious message, and we'll confirm whether it's genuinely from us.
Reporting impersonation
If you've received a message, invoice, or social account impersonating HEXOGIC, forward or describe it to hello@hexogic.com — it helps us warn other clients and take the account or address down where we can.
